Opportunity: TBM Consultant

Northramp is looking for smart, creative individuals with an aptitude in – and passion for – helping organizations effectively manage their IT activities. This person will be a key part of a team working towards transforming our clients' ability to conduct IT portfolio management, budget and cost management and governance. The ideal candidate maintains an understanding of, and possesses proven execution of, IT frameworks, best practices and program/project management. Specific responsibilities include:

  1. Support agency implementation and execution of TBM, CPIC and EA/governance, including the development of metrics, reporting and dashboards

  2. Support the IT budgeting and cost management processes, as needed, to reconcile financial data between teams

  3. Contribute innovative ideas towards the development of artifacts, deliverables and continual service improvement

  4. Work independently and closely with staff to improve IT strategy and management

  5. Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support OCIO requirements

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA or other advanced degree preferred

  • 5-8+ years’ experience in management consulting; with federal IT client preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong written skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and follow-through in a fast-paced office

  • Ability to work both in a team environment and independently
