Our Story

Built to Deliver Differently

Northramp began in 2012, when leaders who had come up through the largest consulting firms set out to deliver federal technology services differently — on a simple idea: technology should make missions stronger, not more complicated. They brought engineers and advisors together under one roof and built the firm intentionally: close to clients, close to the work.

That idea still drives us. We turn complexity into progress — pairing deep technical expertise with mission insight, applying Agile and Lean practices that scale, and holding ourselves to the highest federal standards. Innovation is something we deliver, from cloud and automation to AI. Not something we talk about.

Being a smaller firm is the point, not a caveat. Our senior people stay hands-on in your delivery, decisions happen in days rather than quarters, and the working relationship is closer than what the large firms offer. Every engagement carries our reputation — so we don't have a B team.
